Hi, I think freecycle is great, but having been on the service for awhile, I got annoyed at the constant stream of emails. I like the www.abcfree.com service. I made a wish list of everything that I want and now I get alerts if something free comes up in my area. Not bad! In the big picture both services are making the world a better place!

George:
FreeCycle's purpose is "NOT" to fullfill someone's wishlist!
I believe you are missing the entire point here!
FreeCycle's ojbect is to deter items from the landfill while helping to recycle them and give them new life in new homes, offices, etc. It is NOT primarily to fill anyone's dreams or wishlists!
As the "volunteer" Chapter Leader for FreeCycleBronxNY I take offence at your statement.
