Day #7 of Grateful

To be quite honest I am feeling kind of grateful right about now. I had a wonderfully productive “fun” weekend. It consisted of a bit of work, but it was done in a fun state of mind! Whenever I design I am happy as it is my absolute favorite thing to do!

So I will just say...
  • I am grateful for the wonderful weekend I just experienced. I wish it could have been extended!
  • I am grateful for all the designs I was able to create, both for print and for the web.
  • I am grateful I learned about the filter site at:
    http://www.selwane.com/mehdi/english/kaleidoscope.htm
If you use Photoshop you need to check this site out. I am not sure if the filters can be used with other programs, but I would bet they can be.
  • I am grateful I will be attending a day of complimentary classes at B&H Photo in NYC with Scott Kelby and Bert Monroy. Click to read more. Scott is my absolute favorite! I have never met Bert, but I hear he is fabulous.
  • Last, but not least, I am grateful for the phenomenal digital images I was able to take early Sunday evening. I went out just about sundown and the sky was gorgeous. At one point the photos I took looked like I was in the middle of a forest with the sky burning bright orange and yellow. I can't wait to start fooling with those in Photoshop. The possibilities are endless!
Well, that is about it for tonight. 6AM comes fast and I don't want to be late. It's always fun going to Manhattan. I love the bus ride as it is a time “to just be” and leave the driving to the bus driver. Since it gets dark earlier, I am hoping to be able to take some great digital photos before I leave the city. My photography skills are improving, but I still have a ways to go. I wish the camera came with an instructor!

Please come back tomorrow for Day #9 of Grateful!
