Day #6 of Grateful

What is this all about — My Objective

Day #1 of Grateful

Day #2 of Grateful

Day #3 of Grateful

Day #4 of Grateful

Day #5 of Grateful

I am a little late posting this today, but a few really good things happened — quite unexpectedly — since I wrote yesterday, so here goes with just a few!

  • I am grateful for Linda, one of the members in my Photoshop-Haven Discussion Group for providing the group and myself with information about a Kaleidoscope filter I had asked about last night. It's like magic, I posted before I went to sleep and when I awoke the information was there!

I had been working with the one from the Filter Factory for years and I desired a change and here it is:

    Kaleidoscope 2.1 at Selwane.com
    http://www.selwane.com/mehdi/english/kaleidoscope.htm

This is a great little filter. It's fun and very easy to use. Your only limitations are those you place upon yourself and/or your creativity!

Just fooling around with it, I created a brand new collection of new eCard and Graphic Designs. Thanks Linda for posting it!
  • I am grateful to have heard from an old friend who I had not spoken to for quite some time. He called with something he thought would interest me and we had an opportunity to chat and reconnect. AND... he taught me a new feature in Photoshop. Well, NEW TO ME... not to everyone else! I enjoyed it! Thanks Mike for calling!
  • Last but not least, I am grateful to be pulling myself out of the funk I have been experiencing for the last little while. Mostly it is because I will be leaving my comfort zone to do things “I want to do,” but “I don't feel comfortable doing!” Like most, as much as I would have liked to say I beat this... I still do not/do things out of pain and/or pleasure. I was procrastinating. (Oh, how I hate the “P word!”) But... the good thing is that I do not procrastinate as much as I used to, or as long. I worked to hard to move ahead! I NEVER want to go back there!
I hope you will do something that you enjoy this weekend. It is so important to take a little time for yourself. EVEN IF, it is work related, do something that you TRULY ENJOY! For me, that is designing!

Please come back tomorrow for Day #7 of Grateful!
