Well, today is Saturday and the sun is shining brightly here in NY — at least for now. Compared to yesterday's freezing rain this is a vast improvement. This in itself is something to be grateful for as I have to go out and do a few chores.

So let's get started with today's list...

• I am grateful for the new day — to start over, try new things and move forward with planned projects.
• I am grateful for the new opportunities the day will bring — even before they present themselves.
• I am grateful the sun is shining brightly and the streets are drying up. However, I suspect I will be dodging puddles from yesterday's rain.
• I am grateful for all the new people I came in contact with this past week at industry events and meetings. One never knows where the next partnerships, opportunities or friendships will come from!
• Last, but not least... I am grateful for caring friends and acquaintances! Their support and loyalty is my most treasured possession! You know who you are!
