Day #11 of Grateful

I was very surprised that lots of businesses were open on Veterans Day. I thought everything would have been closed except for the stores!

I'm looking forward to the weekend with great expectation and enthusiasm. Once again I am making myself a promise to have fun — whatever I do, even if I work, which I probably will be doing! Somehow this makes a difference and I have enjoyed the last few weekends, even when nothing much happened that was extraordinary. Pledging to have fun, seems to make everything fun!

Last weekend I discovered a great new Photoshop filter and designed a new collection while trying it out! Check out the entries for Saturday November 6th and/or Sunday November 7th.

So let's get started with today's list...
  • I am very grateful to perhaps be making a small difference in someone else's life by doing this. My project seems to be making others look within and count their own blessings. I would love to hear from some of you.
  • This one might sound silly, but... I am grateful the Christmas Tree is up at Rockefeller Center, so I can go and take pictures — Only a photographer could understand this one! One problem is that the lights won't go on until November 30th, but I can still see photographic possibilities. This is the creative side of me talking now!
  • Last, but not least... I am grateful to be able to sleep later tomorrow, however, I have this thing about getting up late. I feel if I sleep later than 6 AM I am missing half the day! However, this does not stop me from doing it “on occasion!” How crazy is this! Do you think it is an age thing? It never bothered me when I was younger!
Enjoy your day!

Please come back tomorrow for Day #13 of Grateful!
